An Atypical Beginning
As a pre-med student in college, Bob Kostin acquired a teaching certificate in biology and history. After acceptance to dental school, he represented Medtronics medical devices to hospitals throughout the nation.
With a job and company car, Bob decided to pursue law school instead. He applied to John Marshall (now, Cleveland State University) and was initially accepted without taking an LSAT. Bob took the LSAT the following year and worked full-time while attending school at night. After moving back to Detroit, he graduated from DCL (Detroit College of Law), passed the bar and began working full-time in law, always in his own practice, beginning in his home in Davisburg, Michigan.

Having practiced in Bloomfield Hills and Waterford, the firm has enjoyed practicing in an historic office in beautiful and growing Clarkston, Michigan for the past 14 years.
